Survivor Pathways Programme
In South Africa we run the Survivor Pathways Programme in partnership with community-based organisations and community mobilisers who work directly in the neighbourhoods where young people live.
We recruit young people, including LGBTQI youth, who are in or affected by gender-based violence, and place them into Employment, Education and Training so they can take charge of their own futures. We are expanding across the country to reach more communities in the year ahead.

A Bridge Beyond Crisis Support
The programme connects survivor-centred support with practical pathways into work, learning, bursaries, learnerships and entrepreneurship through trusted referral and recruitment partners.
Community-rooted recruitment
We partner with community organisations and mobilisers who work on the ground in each neighbourhood, so recruitment is rooted in trust.
Survivor-centred referrals
We recruit young people, especially young women and LGBTQI youth, who are survivors of or affected by GBV.
Employment pathways
We partner with recruitment agencies, private-sector employers and NGOs to open employment and learnership pathways.
Education and training
We place participants into Employment, Education, Training, bursaries and entrepreneurship opportunities.
National expansion
We are actively expanding to additional communities across South Africa.
